i use all of these. plus i have McAffee and Norton. and still i get hit on occassion. :uhoh:

You run TWO virus scanners? And they don't cause massive problems? That is SO not recommended.

Even with all of those, you'll still get lots of spyware cookies. Are you seeing other types of spyware?

A few tips:
Use Firefox (or Opera) instead of IE.
Deny 3rd party cookies (within firefox)
Don't visit gambling or web game (or porn) sites unless you know they are trustable. I don't trust any gambling sites, but there are some OK game sites.
Don't install anything unless you know EXACTLY what it is and where it is coming from.
Go into Spybot's advanced settings ->Tools->Hosts and have it add the Spybot hosts list. That will outright block MANY spyware companies.

Not good...
They will interfere with each other, and you won't get the full protection of either of them. They end up blocking each other instead of viruses sometimes. Maybe that's why you still get hit with some viruses. Take one or the other off (I'd recommend using Norton/Symantic, but that's just personal preference) and I bet you'll be alot better off, and your PC will be much more stable.

Two active anti-virus are usually not a good idea. However, as long as one is running actively, the others can be installed and run ocassionally. I did this with Trend Micro as the active scanner, but I had AVG installed--but not actively running. I ran anti-virus scans separately on a weekly basis and I didn't encounter any problems.
