Recommend me a movie

What with my semi-busy college schedule, I don't make it out to the movies all that often, and most of my friends are the same way, so I am totally out of the loop as to what recent movies are good. And I have found myself going with a few friends to see a movie this Thursday. So I turn to the fine minds here at ENWorld with a request to suggest any good recent movie.

Actually, that was the last movie I saw. Pretty much anything that came out after RoTK I missed.

Starsky and Hutch and Hidalgo are both good FUN movies. Not too serious but lots of good rock 'em sock 'em.

Yep. I can't recommend anything without knowing more about what you're interested in. Otherwise, I'd say Win a Date with Tad Hamilton isn't too bad... No, really!

In America and Lost in Translation are both really amazing films, just incredible, a couple of my absolute favorites.

But not everyone will like either one. I know plenty of people who didn't care for Lost in Translation at all, yet it's in my top 20.

Recent films I pretty much DIDN'T like but didn't think were completely awful:
The Last Samurai
Peter Pan

Haven't seen a movie in the theatre that I just couldn't stomach since Pirates of the Caribbean.
