Having just made my purchase I thought it would be fun to get an idea of how many other EnWorlders have pre-ordered the book.

I pre-ordered on the installment plan despite promising myself I wouldn't spend $120 on it. Call me a Monte Fan-Boy, but after reading what all it included, I decided it was worth it.

I started to go with installments and then just settled on the full pre-pay. This way I don't have to think about anything until the book arrives next year.

My birthday is next month (practically, since it is almost September), so I have convinced myself to wait until then. My mom is terrible about presents, in the sense that she is never able to come up with anything on her own and instead ends up just asking me what I want. This seems perfect, although she will not like the idea that I have to wait until next August to got the benefit of the gift.

I'm tempted to wait to see what sort of price is available on Amazon and from others, but Monte was wise enough to sweeten the pre-order pot, and I don't think I can resist.
