2 days till pre-order. Anybody else waiting on the 1st of the month?

Am I confused? The only upcoming date I see is that the Delver's Guild site is "scheduled to launch in September 2005." But there is no actual deadline approaching, is there?

As long as you pre-order by June 30, 2006, you get all the same goodies. I guess you miss out on the first few months of the Delver's Guild site, but you will get all the info once you place your pre-order.

There is also the currency exchange, which Arnwyn mentioned, and customs ... which brings the whole thing to nearly $200 USD.

Good lord! I was thinking about buying this since I really like Malhavoc products and the whole package is a great deal, but that's a bit rich for my blood. That's like, what, 1/3 the price of an XBOX360? I hope something gets worked out for Canadian fans.

I'd much rather have Ptolus than an X-Box 360...besides, you have to buy games for the 360.

Weee! I ordered it a couple of days ago. Since I paid all at once, I am know the owner of a book I won't see for another year.

Does anybody know if there's going to be a cheaper version of the book? If this is a spiffy collectors edition, signed and everything, I don't know if I want to play with it. I think we should get a beat up, old copy as well, a copy that looks like it's already been used a couple of times so I can look at my shiny copy in plastic and play with the used one.

From what I've heard, you could probably buy THREE copies of Ptolus for just the system itself, ignoring accessories and games, which cost EVEN MORE.
