Title: The Eleventh Hour

Short Description:

Anthelios, the red star. Like a baleful eye it glares malignantly down upon a world in upheaval. A millennia's worth of Kindred lore has forecasted such a dreadful time when the current Age of Darkness would end, and a bleaker Age of Sorrow would begin. And that time is now. In these final nights, Cainites of unimaginable power awaken and walk the Earth once more. And all tremble at their coming because their presence can only mean one thing: Gehenna is at hand. But in this darkest hour, there are still those with the courage and resolve to do whatever it takes to try to avert impending disaster. Factionalized and splintered, their efforts may be in vain though unless these disparate elements can be united and their resources and powers pooled together to face the oncoming storm.

Teaser:

All the portentious signs point to an inevitable conclusion: Armageddon. The world is poised on the brink - walking a fine line between damnation and salvation. Where will your coterie (PCs) stand when The Final Night descends?

Yay!
Another V:tM PbP on thse boards!

Nice to see it.

Any more info on what style you want it to be?
What else have you DM'd?
How do you prefer to run your game? Combat? Maps? Pictures?
What kind of characters and posting style are you looking for from the players?

Oooh, Vampire! What kind of characters are you looking for? Cammarilla/ Sabbat/ Independent? Neonates? Ancillae? Elders (I wish)? Are we allowed obscure bloodlines (please, please say no :D )? Is there going to be a lot of crossover (again, please, please no)? Is there going to be lots of action, or are we keeping to a more traditional style (things can get pretty messed up what with Gehenna and all)? Thin blood characters allowed/ encouraged?

I'd like to join up, contingent on my ability to get access to a player's book. (I'll have this figured out shortly.)

Also, I haven't really been following WW news as of late. Will this have anything to do with those novels WW published a few years back?

I'm interested in playing :)

I think the previous posters have asked some good questions, would like to see the answers to them. Anyways, if there is room, I'd like to play an anti-tribue Sabat Gangrel. (A sabat gangrel that has shy'd away from the sabat and defected to the camarilla with disadvantages to go along with it! Also have a good long background written up for him!)

This is a character I played in a in-person Vampire game, but sadly when I joined there was only about 4 or 5 sessions that we played and then the campaign was over.

I'd be interested in joining this game as well, if there is any room, of course.

I'd play anything but would be most interested in playing a Toredor.

For those still interested, this PbP game still has several openings. Definitely three, though maybe more depending on the quality of the character submissions I receive.

And to answer a few of the questions asked:

1. My natural inclination for online games is to run them in a narrative style. I do employ game mechanics of course but all the dice rolling is kept behind the scenes. I prefer threads to read more like a novel than a tabletop transcript.

2. I am currently Storytelling another PbP game entitled The Geyser Protocols. It's an Aberrant d10 (White Wolf) campaign. We just started actual game posting this past Monday.

3. As for the type of characters I'm looking for, any of the 13 major clans are fair game. Any obscure bloodlines should be run by me first however since I would like to keep a firm rein over initial game balance. And we'll be going by the standard character creation rules in the Vampire (revised) core rulebook.

4. There will be crossover to a limited degree but this campaign will be firmly vampire-centric for the most part.

5. There will be plenty of opportunites for action and combat though intrigue and resource accumulation and management will also play a large role.

My final note is that this campaign will not be run here at EN World. There's just a bit too much clutter around here for my tastes and this site has a tendency to inexplicably crash at the most inopportune times. (At least in my experience.) So with that said, here's the URL where the actual posting will take place:
