We've just launched our 4th Kickstarter project - Adventure Realm: Castle and Dungeon RPG Map Tiles. Sixteen full colour card map tiles, measuring 8" by 8" with a subtle 1" grid pattern included in the artwork. The tiles are also gloss laminated for extra durability and to be compatible with drywipe markers.

We've found with other map products that you either have something very plain, like a big sheet of grassland on a 1" grid, and have to draw your own features on top, or you have a specific large map which you can only use once. Our tiles give you the advantage of characterful, pre-drawn locations, but being modular you can re-use them in different configurations time and again. You want a section of castle wall for the players to assault? No problem! A square castle with a gatehouse? Assemble it in seconds! Dungeon corridors and dingy rooms to delve through? It's there in an instant.

You can also combine this set with the first in the range, the Town and Wilderness set, for even more gaming options. From a walled town to a tower in a forest to a warren of underground rooms under the city, combining both sets gives awesome potential.

Delighted to say that the project hit its funding target in just two days, so we will definitely be going ahead with this. We are working with the same trade printer who did our first map tile set and are confident that we will be shipping the sets in November. In the meantime, I've still managed to fit some gaming in, and here's a pic of our first set (Town and Wilderness) in use from Monday's game. I needed a village set up, so a mix of town and wilderness tiles gave the players something to explore.

Just a week to go on this Kickstarter. We're fully funded and booked into the factory for production, so will be shipping these map sets in November. We have nearly all the artwork complete, so everything's coming together nicely. Please take a look at the project, it's a great opportunity to get in early on this new mapping set, and the tiles have been getting great reviews from our customers. Putting together a scene for an encounter takes seconds, and being modular you can create lots of different scenes. They really do make running adventures easier and give extra depth to encounters.
