Red Star - Where do I start?

I got the Red Star campaign setting for the holidays and din't even know it was based on a comic series. I'd like to brush up on Red Star goodness so where can I start?

Only 19 issues total, and I believe all are available in trade paperback format.

I liked the comic series. I don't like Christian Gossett, but that is a separate issue.
