Redblade D&D 3.5e Character Creation tool updated

I really like this character generator. I now this is a lot of work, but I would request a wizard for adding custom material.

For example, if I want to add a PrC, instead of having to poke around the different screens, I could just follow a wizard that guides me through the process, kind of like how RedBlade does character creation.

Also, I'm not sure that the alignment requirement is working. I tried to add an Arcane Trickster PrC, and selected the valid alignments on the requirement dialog; however the program doesn't state there's an alignment requirement when I click on the Arcane Trickster on the character class list in the main dialog. It handles the skill ranks fine, but it doesn't seem to handle the alignment.

This is a great program! As it gets better and better, I think it could give PCGen/ETools a run for their money.

Random thoughts . . . you could put your project on www.sourcforge.net. That way, folks can log in to Sourceforge and file bugs. Or maybe start a Yahoo Group for that purpose . . .

Like I said, it's a decent and useable program. But it's also just that, decent and usable. Daan, good luck fixing the bugs! I will enjoy the updates from it.

I downloaded Redblade this weekend and I am quite impressed with it. I think it is a very good char-gen and I love the fact that I can add my own stuff to it.

I would second the motion that a file explaining how to add new material would be really good. Just as important, I would LOVE if Redblade could output a character in standard stat block format. It would make the program absolutely perfect for me (and I'm sure others would like the option as well).

But like I said, very good program. Thanks for sharing it with the gaming community at large.

Thanks for all your suggestions and support. ^_^ I released 1.3.0.9 which fixes most bugs in 1.3.0.8. I'm currently considering which changes to implement, and due to many requests better support for prestige classes and a statblock export is on the top of my list.

On that note, I'm unfamiliar with statblocks. Can anyone point me to an rfc/definition/examples of a statblock, preferably what formats are generally used?

Thanks a lot!
Daan

I just dowload 1.3.0.9, I still can't select Weapon focus: Dwarven Waraxe for my dwarf fighter. Most of his other feats are built off of this one feat.

Lol, you sure are fast! :) I'm getting bug reports from so many sources I keep forgetting things. x_x I'll get it fixed for the next version!
