Redhurst Academy of Magic Shipping Soon!

First Post
Hi All:

We just got back from a great Gen Con and Gamefest Milwaukee. We had early copies of The Redhurst Academy of Magic (our 3.5-compatible d20 System sourcebook) flown in from our printer for the shows, and they went over great. Everyone who saw the book seemed impressed, including Johnny Wilson of Paizo, who's supposedly writing a rave review of it right now.

The book is now in our warehouse and will be shipping to distributors next week. It should be shipping out from distributors on August 18, so be sure to place your orders soon if you haven't already.

We've set up a website with all sorts of preview information about the book at:

http://www.humanhead.com/hhgames/RAM/ram.html

There's a free 15-page PDF preview, as well as free wallpapers and a student record sheet PDF too. If you have any questions about RAM or any other Human Head games, please feel free to contact me at mforbeck@humanhead.com.

Here are the details:

If anyone has not seen this it is a beautiful color hardbound that would look great on a coffee table. It is one of the books I am looking forward to reading when I have a few minutes of rest :D .

Great job Matt!

PS. The Rune soundtrack is real nice.

I read and my first thoughjts that is D20 game base closely to another scared head boy wizard:D .. I am now wandering if you this from that, hmmm?

At 5 MB your free preview is a little big. Some people might balk at downloadit it.

It looks very nice though!!

I dunno. I did it on a dialup modem that had its bandwidth split between two PCs. And I consider the download well worth it.

Hal: Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like the book.

tecnowraith: The notion for the book certainly sprang from Hogwarts, but once you mix such a place with the d20 magic system, it quickly becomes a unique place all its own.

tensen and John: We got the PDF down as small as we could with a wonky copy of InDesign (long story) and a book filled with all sorts of transparency effects. It's a decent representation of what the final book looks like though.

Take care,

This book was one of the two best purchases I made at GenCon this year (Arcana Unearthed being the other). I highly recommend it! (And I've never read those Rowling books, shame on me, so I can't comment on any similarities - I took it for what it is.)
