Reference books for medieval courts?

Someone might want to correct me on this but,

Joinville's Life of St. Louis is a great book. Contains plenty of nice descriptions of court life, how it functioned in the context of ruling, and a perfect example of how someone should behave in such a scenario.

Very good for medieval courts and just a great read. Also lots of info on military matters and crusading.
