Regeneration Ability and Spell not useful

Is a head a limb?

It is for trolls, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for the spell.
Might give it one good use in combat- Vorpal defense.

Edit: Nevermind, the spell doesn't list it unless you're a multiheaded creature. Not to mention the spell is instanteous. Could've sworn it has some sort of duration.

As with all magical items it depends on the poeple and the DM. However, back in the day I recall seeing many higher level (8th+) parties that had at least on of these items. They seemed common enough at the cons and in the modules.
