Region of Origins

Summer-Knight925

First Post
now obviously region of origin means where you were born and raised

BUT

our group just finished Eyes of the Lich Queen and we left off in Argonessen, we leveled up and spent time, would we be able to take a feat the requires region of origins Seren/Argonessen?

I don't know about Eberron, but in Fogotten Realms, it's enough if you have 2 ranks in Knowledge (Local [region you want a regional feat from]) to take a regional feat.

That rule was removed from the 3.5 updates in PGTF.

It only existed in the 3.0 FRCS.

our group has multiple DMs, and the DM for that group is away and wants our characters ready when he gets back, so it is a debate between me and the other player

(there are three players, yeah, small group, I know)

so as to what the DM says, we all DM, we all see the rules differently..the player said he only wants the +2 natural armor from the feat, to cancel out the -2 to AC barbarians get in rage....so to him making a feat that just gets you a +2 natural armor bonus makes perfect sense

some how, giving people a +2 natural armor bonus for no reason at all is a tad bit dumb, IMO

I mean magic Items sure, dragon totem feats, sure, feats that build on natural armor, totally fine, but granting someone who doesnt have natural armor natural armor is a bit powerful, maybe if you had to have a base attack +6, Constitution 16 and the rage ability, MAYBE, but the feat idea of "Just a +2 to armor to cancel out the barbarian's rage" is very powerful, there is a reason they get a -2 to ac

In FRCS at least, Regional Feats must be taken at 1st level.

A feat granting +2 NA is too powerful, most feats that increase NA only increase it by 1.
