Thank you!
You're most welcome. Though it's nothing more than you deserved.

The reason is simple: Pilots are warriors, not experts.
This is why I like multi-roling. 1 level of Expert, because to me a combat pilot is a warrior centered around a single skill and Expertise is perfect for such a focused character, followed by 19 levels of Warrior to be able to shoot the lower half of a fly's left wing while zipping along a 10,000 kph.
But different builds for different styles and thoughts. :D

I'm one of those people who have never liked the wealth system. This is the second time I wrote a conversion away from it (the first time was in D20 Apocalypse).
And I can understand that. It's a matter of personal taste, and that varies a lot. Not a problem, just something worth noting. (And I did like your system for D20 Apocalypse; I'm glad to know who to pin that on.)

I feel that it helps make encounters more dramatic when you've got the credits sitting there on the table and a bunch of guys standing there with blasters, ready to kill for the pile of cash.
That's always dramatic, no matter what money system is used.

Perhaps you could give it a full review on rpgnow?
Perhaps I can. Once I finish reading the full book. I'd feel quite the heel to review something I haven't read fully (or almost fully).
