Rejected Settings... (Humor)

I plan on winning this contest with my masterful adaptation of the "Family Circus" comic to the d20 system. It's a perfect setting - imagine your characters being watched from afar by the terrifying ghost of dead Grandpa! Or being framed by the malicious spirits "Not Me" and "I Don't Know!" And, I dunno, Cthulhu'll probably be somewhere in there too.

The PCs hold a contest to see who can go the longest without "polishing their swords," if you know what I mean (and I think Hong does).

He may not. After all, it's hard to "polish your sword" when all you have is a pen knife.

If Wizards rejects that, you might want to do up a GURPS treatment and fire it off to Steve Jackson - he's supposedly a serious Lego-phile. In either case, sounds like you have a sweet "product placement" deal just waiting to happen... :)

Have a look here - it's more than a rumour :)

Modest proposal world. A world actually based on the story "A Modest Proposal" by John Swift.

THose who know will get it. :D

They might even know that Dean Swift's name was 'Jonathan'.

There are a people here that are well read, who knew?

Well, it wouldn't matter for the race. Mostly it depended on the economic state the person or family is in. REmember, they could sell the others to make money that the rest of the family can use.

Well, halflings are out. Not enough meat after three years, and the prostitution racket is still no option after 14. I vote Orcs or Goblins, breed fast, nice returns.

Well, mine's probably kaput, so I think I can tell you all.

EgoWorld. A land where the characters get to watch my former PC's break all the rules, beat up all the bad guys, and save the world time and again. And occasionally send the player characters off on some errand or other to do something beneath them.
