TEMERLYTH THE UNDYING - CR 16, Male Lich Alchemist 6, Loremaster 3, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Temerlyth is one of those rarest of beings, an elven lich. Drinking from the cup of blackest hate, ancient wrath drives him ever on. Accompanied by his ravenous undead children, his tormented wife and her former lover, Temerlyth is a powerful horror stalking the broken ends of the world just as easily as right outside your door. He searches for the next victim of his vile experiments. He inspires nightmare whispers, tales told in the dark and seedy places where adventurers gather to swap stories sane men would rather not hear, stories that just may prove all too real!

The world is filled with colorful characters of many hues. Not all within subscribe to black or white; many are shades of grey. Infamous Adversaries characters, by TPK Games, shows you villains in their true light - insidious. These are not merely NPCs to fill your game; they are villains in the truest sense of the word, complete with stories that don't just tell the character's tale, but enrich your game. Our adversaries are not villains because they have evil alignments; they are villains because your players will despise them!

Infamous Adversaries contains: one ready to use villain, complete with equipment, a rich background including motives, history, personality, network, resources, lair, tactics, morale, advancement options, a quote, plot hooks to easily insert them into your campaign, local lore, full color art and a vibrant description. The Infamous Adversaries characters are designed to challenge an entire party; not just in combat, but also through less direct methods requiring careful planning and confrontation.

This Infamous Adversary sourcebook contains Temerlyth the Undying, an elven alchemist/wizard that made the ultimate sacrifice for his people, and in the end succumbed to his own madness. Also included is a new open content 5th level spell: Silvermist.

Give your players a reason to hate again. You can blame it on us...

Temerlyth is available for only $1.99 here!

Review of Temerlyth on DriveThruRPG

4/5 Stars

Great Villain Barbed with Many Hooks

As Enemies and Adversaries go, there are random generators, source-books aplenty, and stat blocks all over the internet. What all of these solutions lack, however, is what TPK Games has offered here with splendid thoroughness.

Everyone loves (to hate) a lich. Temerlyth, however, is no simple lich to be drag-dropped into some dusty crypt or abandoned library. TPK provides a through and thoughtful history, as well as a slew of other monstrous companions/contextual offerings, which leaves the GM looking for an arch-villain with many options as to how to blend him into an existing campaign, or build a campaign around him!

In addition to this interesting cadre of hooks and backgrounds, it turns out that this fifteen-page dossier on Temerlyth and his usual partners (and hated enemies - lycanthropes) is the prelude to a full-blown adventure module starring the cast and crew described within this supplement! Reading through this writeup (nicely illustrated, and well-written, without drawing you into too many specific lock-ins), I immediately thought of no less than a half-dozen uses for Temerlyth, in addition to his lightly-referenced lair, and a new spell he created!

My only regret (and why this is four stars instead of five) is that not much is said about Temerlyth’s phylactery - when it comes to liches, I feel this is a key element, and one which would have added yet another facet to an otherwise well-crafted and delightfully devious undead enemy!

Good Reviews!

Hey, just wanted to give this a nice bump, Necro! This is getting some really good reviews on DriveThruRPG and Paizo.

I'm telling ya, folks that don't check this out will be missing out when the full adventure comes out.
