Repairing broken magic items

So I’m minding my own business and some fighter comes up and breaks my Wand of Fireballs. (Naturally, I turn him into a frog and dissect him in biology class.) But what happens to my wand; can I repair it?

Or would that be sovereign glue?

sovereign glue is duct tape that is if u apply the glue to shiny, silvery stretchy stuff..... ^_^

Other item creation feats contain the words "repairing a broken X costs half the materials and XP that enchanting it in the first place would have".

I believe in 3.0, craft wand also did.

Regardless, it seems like an appropriate mechanic.
