It's also unnique amongst even WotC settings in that it was specifically designed to showcase almost all of the system's mechanics in the setting itself, as opposed to merely being content to have them work in the background. Of all the settings on the list, I think Eberron might be the only one that has had a tremendous impact on the hobby as it exists outside of D&D for this very reason.
