If you ever get to NYC, try Deluxe Food Market,179 Elizabeth Street. This is a caffeteria inside a supermarket. There is a language barrier, unless the old man who likes to practice his English is there, but the food is great and one person can not finish $5 worth of food. Try the fried dumplings, the pork chops, the spicy tofu, the tofu squares with tiny meatballs in the center and the mixed vegetables. This is not restaurant Chinese food, this is food like your Chinese friend's grandmother makes.
