One of my favorite shows in the series was the one where the wizard Kelek is capturing all the unicorns and stealing their horns to increase his own power. In that episode Venger mass polymorphs a bunch of worg wolves into pups and then casts the imprisonment (burial) spell on Kelek himself at the end. That's in addition to the constant eldritch blasting that he always does. There's no 5e equivalent of a mass polymorph spell, but worgs are only CR 1/2 creatures. I could imagine an eighth level custom spell in his repertoire that could do the trick with them, leaving the 9th level warlock mystic arcanum slot for imprisonment.Not that I've thought about it. ;-)</blockquote>
