In Homebrews I posted the question, have they been statted? I really don't know if I'm posting this in the correct forum, but here I go.
I saw the recent movie incarnation of "The Time Machine" on DVD. It had little in common with the book. However the one truly bright or dark spot (hee hee) was with the Morlocks.
The Morlocks in the movie have a caste-based society. At the top is the Uber Morlock. He appears humanoid, almost drow-like, with the exception of his enlarged brain that extends out the back of his head and halfway down his back. The brain is a part of his back and is probably connected to the spinal cord along its entire length.
The Uber Morlock controls and holds in check all the other Morlocks with his mind. He also exhibits the power of telekinesis and alludes to an ability to influence dreams. It is mentioned that without the controlling influence of the Uber Morlock the lesser members of the caste would exhaust their food source in a matter of months.
Two other levels in the caste hierarchy are the spies and the hunters. The hunters are huge and extremely brutish in appearance. They are capable of moving swiftly particularly when running on all fours ala "Planet of the Apes." Normally they walk upright although somewhat hunched. They can make huge jumps and leaps and possess incredible climbing skill.
The spies are leaner and do not engage their prey directly. In the movie they would surprise their prey and mark them for harvesting using a blowgun with a dart that left a black sticky substance clinging to the area of the darts impact. Confronted by the spies the prey would turn and run into an ambush by the hidden hunters. I can assume that the marking substance also guided the hunters by scent.
The Morlocks live underground and have a sense of the mechanical. They use tools and knives to butcher their catch. They have knowledge of tunneling, mining and smelting.
The movie suggested that there were only three levels in the caste. I feel that could be expanded to include a strictly worker class and possibly an elite class also, for good measure.

I am looking for help statting these beasties. What I have provided is a basic sketch based on the movie. What I would like to do is turn this into a viable monster society. Comments?
