Where -- I'd like to snag a table at the Hyatt; when I get to Indy I'll ask around and see if any of our EN cohorts will be there in the morning, and hopefully they can pass the table along to us.

In case that does not work out, the Con gave my wife and I a suite at the Omni with sofas, overstuffed chairs, tables, and seating for 7. If we want to use that for the game just give me a call. It's room 901.

That was pretty darn smart, I wish I had thought of it myself. My plan was to try and lead them into the building in hopes they could not re-form without snow or ice below them. I suspect it would not have helped beyond putting more innocent people in jeopardy.

I liked the grim and gritty nature of things, though even grimmer and grittier would work as well.

Thanks. I'd love to take credit for "penetrating insight", but I think you probably have just played through the encounter with a lot of players from warmer climates.

As my friend mentioned in the car on the way home when I described the Snowmen encounter and the "salt bags", he remarked that it was a "very Canadian solution" to the problem!

Being from Chicago and having grown up playing hockey, when you first went after the salt, I figured you were going to make the ice rink less slippery so we could fight more easily.
