'Return to...' adventures

So I was thinking... after converting Return to the Tomb of Horrors I decided I was going to write a 'Return' to one of my old mega-dungeons, the Hill of Skulls. Just curious- has anyone else done this? Or written a 'Return' adventure centered around another previously-published adventure? I know of the Returns to the Temple of Elemental Evil, the Tomb of Horrors, the Keep on the Borderlands and White Plume Mountain... I always thought that the Barrier Peaks would be a good one but I no longer have the module (alas!) I am giving serious thought to a Return to Firestorm Peak scenario, as the pcs in my game went through the Gates of Firestorm Peak about a year ago game time... they defeated it and refocused the gate but who knows what might happen in the interim or thanks to outside interference??

IIRC, there is a Return Expedition to the Barrier Peaks in progress (or at least strongly rumored to be in progress). I also imagine with this being WotC's "Year of the Drow" that they might be working on or considering a Return to the Vault of the Drow or Return to the Demonweb Pits also (although the FR mega-adventure may turn out to be it in effect, if not name).

Oh god, don't tell me they are opening that can of worms again are they? I saw more campaigns trashed by that adventure than I care to count... Time to see if I can get my DM to run my through it again heh heh heh.

Heh. A good intro to the Dragonstar setting. PC's get high tech items and play around with them for a while. Then a working ship comes along to conquer the world!

On the theme of the "Return to . . ." adventures, I much prefer the ones that genuinely are a return (i.e. set years after the original adventure) rather than just a rewrite!

is there a good source online for D20 conversions of these "classic" adventures? I'm a new D&D'er...and I'd love to run em, but don't exactly have the experience, skill, or knowledge of the systems to convert 2e to 3e...
