Henadic Theologian
Legend
This is really too short stories, the first one is Drizzt in the distant past, early days in Icewind Dale, being Drizzt and saving some Barbarians from Ice Trolls. Great fight scenes Salvatore is known for.
Second one is the one with Breezy in it, she's kind of spoiled, but still likable, and by the end of it, she evolves past the spoiledness.
She mostly a Way of Shadows Monk, not Open Monk. It's mentioned near the end her mom taught her some spells, so she's likely either multiclassed or has the Sage or Acoylte background (her mom is both cleric & wizard multiclass and the story doesn't have Breezy actual cast any spells, so its not clear if they are cleric or wizard spells). I don't think she's got many levels in a spellcaster class and her Monk Way of Shadows powers seem to be her go to for combat. I actually hope they are cleric spells so Breezy does not inherent her father's antitheism.
Really liked Breezy, she's not emo which you'd think she'd be with Way of the Shadows Monk, nor does she appear to be all the lawful like Monks usually are, but it suits her, she seems more happy then that.
She's unique at the Monastery where she studies where she was originally studying to be Open Hand like the other Monks, but she read about Way of Shadows in the library and choose that instead.
Also some exploration of Drizzt as a Dad. When Breezy dies long before he does it's going to be brutal on him. Having half elf children is far better for the human half then the elf half.
I enjoyed this.
