Best quote of the article:

"You can just picture him looking for something in his closet when he goes out to blast humans and then he can't find anything clean so he has to wear his wrinkled up killsuit from the last night's orgy of blasterization."

That article was really funny. Simultaneously ironic and earnest; very hard to pull off!

And #143's cover is still one of my all-time favorite pieces of fantasy art. The detail in that cockpit is amazing.

Indeed, I loved it. He should do it for more covers! (If he can keep up teh funny ;) )

I looked at the pic,and thought "Reign of Fire!"
And then I read his comment. ;)
(I also thought? Or Shadowrun? He didn't mention it, but I think that might have been to "obscure" as a pop culture reference.)

So if it's a Dragonlance painting, what's the orc doing in the picture, then?

Being animated by the power of necromancy by the look in his eye I'd say.

Wasn't there one Dragonlance module that broke all the rules and used half the monsters from the fiend folio to populate Soth's Daargard keep and had both drow and orcs in there despite it being dragonlance?

Wasn't Soth a Death Knight, and weren't Death Knight's originally from the Fiend Folio anyway? :D

That was a great article. I laughed by arse off.
