All recursion needs a base case! A little nerdy humor (or is it! It's true if you want practical and useful recursion) for you. But more seriously maybe a system similar to what amazon implement would be helpful. A simple did you find this review useful (yes or no or something with more options?). Then the overall score would be weighted based on the replies. Of course this would take a bit of doing on the server side of things and unless most people found this extremely useful (more reviews tend to balance out the few poorly constructed ones after all) then the effort would probably not be worth the gain in utility.
