Well, that would be 56 out of 126 since only 126 products have 5 or more reivews to qualify. And that is print products. There are 14 out of 46 pdf products with a 4 or higher.

But despite the name, 'average', I don't think anyone is grading on a curve, since that would basically be impossible.


Note that due to the difference in scoring systems, d20 MR reviews are effectively graded on a curve when posted to EN World. You have to go to the original review to get the numeric score (and it helps to read the posted review guidelines to know what that score really means).
 

As an outside (non-ENWorld) reviewer, I've often wished I could score products on a curve to give more accurate relational ratings. But that means re-assessing every product every time, and that's just not realistic.
