All very true, but being aware of what barbarians will look like will help them create a better battlerager, creating something that synergizes well as well as offering something meaningful to non-barbarians.

They are aware of what Barbarians are like. In R&C it was outed that Mearls had already written several classes for PHB2 - including the Barbarian. It's not finalized yet, but got a rough sketch to work with.
