Rich beyond dreams (El Jefe Judging)

Phoenix will look around the immediate area to see if there is anything of interest here at the well bottom. Search check (1d20=13)

After that, she will pull out another sunrod to use so that they can leave one here as a marker of where the exit is. Heading carefully down the passage (there is only one way to go, right?) Phoenix will lead the way with her mindblade already manifested and ready to go.

Phoenix searches the area at the bottom of the well, noting a slight stream of water running into the area from the tunnel. Nothing of interest found here.

You move about 30ft and the tunnel opens into a larger dark cave with a small trickle of water flowing at the center toward the well (not enough to make the well useable). You see red eyes glow in the dark as a group of 8 small skeletons and 2 zombies move to attack you. They are currently 50ft away.

The sailors grip their clubs a bit tighter.

"Incoming undead!" Phoenix yells back to the others. "Eight small bony ones and 2 with flesh enough to carve!" she elaborates before trying a new trick she learned a while back...

Concentrating harder, she pushes her mental energies faster down her sword arm until her held mind blade flies away at the nearest zombie...

[sblock=Thrown Mind Blade attack]Attack Roll (1d20+4=19) Actually, this should be 18 as I forgot to subtract one for the range being beyond 30'. She also expends her psionic focus to use the Psionic weapon feat and add +2d6 damage to the attack. Damage= (3d6+3=14)

If she has another round of time before the undead close to melee, she may fire another volley their way...[/sblock]

Phoenix drops one of the fleshy undead zombies burying her mindblade in the things eye.

The sailors ready themselves standing behind Phoenix and Lookspring.

Phoenix has time to prepare and throw one more mindblade before the creatures are upon you.

OOC: Are you going to move to a point where you can all fight or stay where you can limit the number of creatures coming at you - also limiting how many of you can attack the creatures?

OOC: How wide is the tunnel we are in currently? enough for Phoenix and Lookspring to fight side by side? Although the sailors didn't do to badly last time, but that was still only one at a time too. I don't suppose they have some rocks they can heave over our heads at the skeletons? :)

Phoenix manifests and throws another mindblade at the other zombie, but her shot isn't very steady this time..."Frak!" Attack and Damage= (1d20+4=8, 1d6+3=8) After that, she'll grab her morningstar( begining of next round probably) and be ready for melee.

Phoenix' thrown mind blade misses its target and she quickly readies her morningstar. Standing beside her Lookspring nervously holds his club ready.

As the skeletons reach you 2 of them are in position for you to attack and to attack you. You each get an attack of opportunity.

ooc:initiative roll also
