If a man carried my burden
He would break his back
I am not rich
Yet I leave silver in my track

Several more for this one... Could be "Snail", but a man can easily carry one, so I'll go with:

"A Cloud"

(all that water vapor is heavy)! ;)

Each morning I appear
To lie at your feet
All day I follow
No matter how fast you run
Yet I nearly perish
In the midday sun

Hello, again, my shadow! (Would you like to dance?)

The man who made it didn’t need it
The man who bought it didn’t use it
The man who used it didn’t want it
[/QUOYE]

Ah, Riddle-Master, you may have me, on this one! I am having problem's with the middle line... I will guess:

A Rope (ala Hangman's Noose, although the Hangman technically uses that - just not on himself)!

Tis Not, tis is
Tis good, tis bad
Tis left, tis right
Tis day, tis night

Ah, Riddler! You have stumped me, I think! Possible answers could be:

Life.
Contrariness.

But I doubt it's any of these...

They can be harboured, but few hold water
You can nurse them, but only by holding them against someone else
You can carry them, but not in your arms
You can bury them, but not in the earth

Grudges.
