Rift game now out

Has anyone played it yet? It looks pretty interesting and has quite a strong influence on D&D. Wonder how successful this game will be, though I doubt it'll be a "WoW killer".

Got a link? I hadn't heard they were doing a video game for Rifts.

Sadly, it's not based on the RPG from Palladium, it's a fantasy themed MMORPG.

Ah, my mistake. I thought you had meant it was based of RIFTS, which I used to play back in the day. Still, always good to know about new video games. I'll check it out.

I think an MMORPG based on Rifts would be pretty neat. Either that or a single-player RPG from either Bioware or Bethesda.

The cool thing would be that a RIFTS game would be infinitely expandable, given that all the Rifts would lead to all sorts of other worlds and universes.

If such a game would come into way, it would most likely the the biggest game ever made. Think of how many NPCs, weapons, items, armor, spells, etc would be in the game. It would also need a compelling story and lots of interesting characters.
