Ring of Gaxx

Didn't the gem on the ring have an impossible number of facets *looks in DMG* -- yeah it was 9-sided with all sides identical*.

*it doesn't say they're identiical, but they can't be told apart by any examination though there is apparently only a single axis of rotatation since once you know where on facet is, you know where they all are.

The second party of PCs I ran through Castle Greyhawk at GaryCon IV came with 220 feet of the Ring of Gaxx by the end of our 6 hour session.

Perhaps they'll find it next year
