OK, I tried to give this show a chance, I really did.
13 episodes currently, and this is one of the most boring, dreadfully slow paced shows I have watched ever.
13 episodes could be in 3, max 4 episodes compressed. and most of the characters are stupid as they get.
Elendil, Arondil and the dwarf prince(what ever is his name) are only remotely competent characters in the story. And the dwarf princess, so 4 characters in the show are somewhat interesting.

sets as are very beautiful and we can see that 99% of the budget went there as those people really did a great job, and the screen writers were outsourced to highschool drama class. Apologies to really good teachers at drama school.

I do find myself struggling to care what happens to Numenor at this point. And this version of Celebrimbor-being-played-for-a-fool makes me pine for the far more atmospheric version seen in flashbacks in the game Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

It's a common complaint. S2 an improvement but not to the extent say WoT S1 to 2.
