Hmm, Wired.com is not normally dangerous. It's a news site I go to all the time. Maybe they had an ad on there that had a virus in it. They do sometimes have those annoying ads that jump out of their designated areas and stick in front of what I'm trying to read.

My "NoScript" Firefox plug-in indicated 25 scripts tried running from that site.



My irrational internet paranoia aside, It is a real shame about Crichton. What is worse is there level of hate folks are still heaping at him just because of political differences.
