Robert Pattinson's true feelings about Twilight

You know, I don't think I've ever heard someone involved in a recent movie come out and say this plainly that they thought it was less than fantastic. Good for him!

That was hilarious! I actually kinda like the guy now, he seems pretty cool and fully realizes how awful the movies and books are.

Yeah, he's said on more than one occasion that he's not a fan and is really only doing it for the money. It raised my opinion of him that he would be upfront about it - most actors aren't.

I'm shocked that he's getting other work. Studios used to refuse to work with actors who did that during publicity tours. Guess he's well-loved.

Yeah, I've known about this for a while and it amuses me.

He'd better have a damn good agent and actively pursue good acting roles so he doesn't end up getting typecast. Being typecast in a role you don't like would probably suck.

Well, just because he hasn't drunk the Koolaid doesn't mean much. Playing the part of, say, Gandalf in a 7-picture deal when you're a die-hard D&D fan is likely to be VASTLY more appealing and rewarding than playing an emo vampire in stories appealing primarily to young teen girls. Cherry-picking responses from 8 or 10 different interviews over how long (?) also doesn't mean he's actually unappreciative. I'm sure what he really wants to do anyway is direct.

It's not cherry picking when it's almost every interview from the last three movies. There are tumblr pages dedicated to all the stuff he has said about Twilight. It even seeps into the DVD commentaries. There were stories that he said a lot more in them than got in but the producers cut them out.

I love the Hulk's movie review of the twilight series. I could only finish the first 15 minutes of the first movie before switching it off. I guess if you are a teenage or tweener girl the movie is better.
