Slap Bet
I love that show too. Allison Hannigan is great too. I am glad the whole "one time in Band camp" thing didn't type cast her. Neil Patrick Harris is SOOOO funny. I didn't realize he could be so funny. Cobie Smulders who plays Robin is smokin hot too.
The whole slap bet thing. My wife and I when we say it were shocked. She was like "that is too funny". I commented that it was an old hat from my days in the US Army. She has never heard about it...figured it was a guy thing.
Two questions for all of you.....
One...up until now has anyone heard about or participated in a slap bet or some derivative of it?
Two...ten slaps now or five anytime?

1. Never saw a slap bet tendered or accepted, though it certainly sounds close enough to other guy-things to be actual. Hilarious!
2. Well, I think I would have to have accepted the ten, now, and avoid the perpetual fear and lifetime of interference. I wonder how they will use the other slaps? (For those who may not know, the old golf joke is

that you offer to allow someone a number of strokes in exchange for two "gotchas" which is accepted. Then you use the first "gotcha" on the first tee by sneaking up behind them and doing something unspeakable to them as you yell "gotcha" at the top of your lungs. Then you never use the second "gotcha" though the fear of it ruins every tee shot for your opponent.
