No word on it. Of course, there is a rumor that Harmony Gold USA may not have the holding right to the Robotech/Macross trademarks in the US.

Gawd I hope not, the Palladium version was bad enough, my opinion though.

While Fuzion would be a better choice, D20 would be a VAST improvement over that colossal display of ineptitude that is Palladium.

I presume there aren't any mecha d20 rules yet?

speaking of d20 I am surprised how many boards say "d20 is bad" or "I don't like standardization" or even "our system is the best!" you can't believe how annoying it is to hear every game company website forum say that!

I guess they're skeptical about this whole "open game" venture. They believe that eventually, people will get tired of it like Pokemon.

Nevertheless there is still room for non-d20 games.

A d20 system version of Robotech (including Macross Plus and Macross 7, of course) would rock very much. Even though I think that Silhouette is the best system for Mecha/Vehicles; d20 would still be great. As another poster said, anything is a vast improvement over Palladium.

It would be nice if someone put out rules for mecha d20 I think, I mean how many times has mecha been done in RPGs?

Silhouette, Fuzion, Mekton, Palladium, Big Eyes Small Mouth, and Mechwarrior; to name a few. I can't really think of any others off the top of my head, but there's been a fair number, really.

Hm...guess I didn't notice because I never thought to look for Mecha RPGs, but I think I'll start (after I pay college bills of course)
