First Post
Does anyone know what happenrd to Roger E. Moore after Wizards took over TSR? The last mention of him that I can can find is "Demihumans of the Realms in 1999 for TSR. I was just curious if he was still writing, or had he retired. Thanks

I saw Roger at Gen Con, where he was attending with his son. He seemed to be in chaperone mode (as opposed to famous industry person mode), and spoke of enjoying his retirment from the gaming industry. He's apparently very interested in rocketry, and has been doing some scholarly work in that regard, if I remember correctly.

I'd love to get some of my old Dragon issues signed by him. Hope he continues to attend.

One of the first game/fantasy books I ever had was an Endless Quest book featuring Conan and written by Mr. Moore. It was a great read and I still break it out every now and then. Maybe he could be coaxed into doing an article or something for the upcoming Conan game...

Roger was always one of my favourite D&D authors - I can still remember his series of articles in Dragon mapping out the different races.

Any one know why he left the industry?
