Rogue Investigator Subclass

I created sub-classes for several classes, as per my previous scout. Include features from this thread and some others from me.

Investigator Muti-class archetype

Rogues, Bards, Druids, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Wizards can all take the Investigator archetype. The exact progression of features depends on the class.

Class features

Bonus proficiencies
You gain proficiency in investigation, perception and insight.

If you spend at least 1 hour eavesdropping, asking questions, and staking out a location you can make an Intelligence check as if you were proficient in Arcana, History, Nature, or Religion. If you spend at least 8 hours you can apply DMG p 239 automatic successes rule to these skills as if you were proficient with them.

Keen Observations
You can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to take the Search action. You gain Cunning Action with this only one effect if you don’t have already access.

In additional, if not already proficient in Survival you can add your proficiency bonus to Wisdom (Survival) checks to follow tracks.

Keener Observations
You have advantage on all Intelligence (Investigation) checks made while researching using downtime days.

Also, You can study people to learn their capabilities. For each minute you spend watching the creature while unobserved, you learn if it is your equal, superior, or inferior in one the following characteristics:
• An ability score
• A proficient skill
• Total class levels (if any)
• Rogue class levels (if any)


Penetrating Perception
You gain advantage on all saving throws against illusions, and on Intelligence checks to escape the maze spell.

Improved Penetrating Perception
At the cost of 5 sorcerers points, your saving throws against illusion spells always succeed damage for the next minute.

You also resistance to psychic damage caused by illusion magic.


Great Insight

Your checks against being Disarmed, Grappled, Overrun, Shoved, Tumbled past, or Pushed Aside are advantaged, as are your saving throws against Battle Master maneuvers.

Identify Weakness
Starting at 9rd level, when you take the Help action to aid a creature's attack and that attack hits, the creature deals extra damage equal to your Sneak Attack damage.

Improved Identifity Weakness
At 20th level, the Identify weakness range is 15 feet and you can help a creature that way as a reaction when, as a trigger, a creature with disadvantage miss an attack against the creature you would help.
