I'm interested in finding out what periodicals you guys are reading, specifically those geared towards the DM.
It can be online or print, the medium used isn't important to me.

Thanks,
Munin

I'm presuming you mean other than the obvious Dragon and Dungeon mags...

Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that, but since you brought it up...I subscribe to both of these, and while they are good for what they do, they don't help me be a better DM. Dragon has one or two articles that help out now and again, but that's about it. Which is odd, considering that the DM is the backbone of this hobby (and therefore the publishers means of living), at least in my opinion.

I have found useful articles in Knights of the Dinner Table mag. The comics are fantastic but the other gaming content is useful too, not all of it is Hackmaster. :)

I have been to roleplayingtips, and I have to say that is about the best resource I know of right now. I'm just looking for a little more :)

If I may ask, what is the difference in focus between the Enworld Player's Journal and the Enworld Gamer?

I subscribe to sjgames.com's Pyramid e-zine. It has a variety of articles, and a searchable data base so that when you subscribe you really get everything they have ever done. There are a wide variety of articles, and often they are system-neutral pieces.

The ENWorld Gamer (http://www.enworld.org/forums/news.php?page=gamer) is a quarterly magazine that has articles for all sorts of d20, but yeah, primarily D&D. We took what was best about the ENWorld Player's Journal, added some new blood, and hopefully will be dazzling you in mid-October when our first issue comes out.
Excellent! I'll look forward to that. The Player's Journal has become a favorite.

Also, Knights of the Dinner Table (if that counts), and Johnn Four's Roleplaying Tips email newsletter (www.roleplayingtips.com).

I'd like to think there's a market for a broader interest gaming magazine (besides just D&D), but the long, slow, and seemingly unopposed, death of the RPGA's Polyhedron, would seem to indicate otherwise.

My favorite magazine of all time was Adventure Gaming, a short-lived journal edited by Timothy Kask in the early '80s. They covered it all, and very well!

Besides Dragon and Dungeon, I also get Mongoose's Signs & Portents. It covers a lot of their own lines (Judge Dredd, Conan, Babylon 5, etc.) but always has "generic" articles in every issue that are geared toward D&D. There's also a "Gamer's Symposium" article in each issue that is pretty much useful no matter what genre of RPG you're playing.
