Roll up a character right now using 3d6 rolled in order and post your stats!

This is funny because Enkhidu and I were just commenting on the different methods used to roll charaters, and discussed on how to possibly change our group's method (4d6 right now). I always loved the 3d6 method my self. Here goes.

Str 15
Dex 10
Con 9
Int 14
Wis 14
Chr 15

Hmmm....fighter or paladin or cleric...maybe a monk

Thanks. Great to see everyones rolls.

Okay, here goes:

Str: 7
Dex: 6
Con: 11
Int: 11
Wis: 8
Cha: 14

Wow those really suck!

I guess I'd go with a Halfling Sorcerer, maybe Rogue/Sorcerer, that brings my AC penalty to only -1, with Mage Armor, Hide and Move Silently I might survive for a bit :) I picture her as a street brat, underfed, functionally illiterate, but with the skills to wheedle a coin out of a sympathetic merchant who mistakes her for a human child. Give her a rat familiar... I'd play her!

Balsamic Dragon

Str 8
Dex 12
Con 8
Int 12
Wis 10
Cha 9

Human wizard/rogue
In the first phase of his life he would be a relatively unconvincing charlatan, combining sleight of hand tricks and actual spells to eek out a meager existence on the streets.

In the second phase of his life, reality has set in. He is fertilizer.

Hmmm.... I think I'll stay in bed at this point....
heh, at least your character is smart enough to know he should stay in bed... it's a rough world out there when your total stat modifier is a -12! :p

Str : 14
Dex : 10
Con : 13
Int : 10

I'm thinking cleric. Gnomish, perhaps.

I just LOVE organic Characters. I think I'll pester my DM to force us to use that method next campaign.

I only had to shift my rolling chair over to my shelf where I keep my 5-pound bag of dice, so technically, ME! :D

Looks like a wizard or a rogue to me, and maybe a gnome or dwarf to get that Con raised a bit. Probably a wizard since getting anywhere near combat will be painful with an 8 Strength and a 6 Con.

Although, as a wizard, the low Int will start to cramp his style by about 7th level (no 4th level spells until 8th level, no 5th level spells until 12th level). So perhaps a few levels in rogue wouldn't go astray.

Here's another:

Str 10
Dex 13
Con 12
Int 8
Wis 10
Cha 8

Looks like a rogue, archer or dextrous fighter to me.

It's interesting that these characters are in general much more playable than they would have been in 1st or 2nd Edition. We've been using point buy systems in the games we play, but maybe I might try an organic character in the next game we start.
