Roll up a character right now using 3d6 rolled in order and post your stats!

Str 6
Dex 7
Con 8
Int 9
Wis 14
Cha 13

In that order (guess why I prefer point buy). A pacifist cleric, maybe...
In point buy that's 12 points minus 3, for a grand total of -3 bonus
Another one :
Str 14
Dex 13
Con 6
Int 11
Wis 7
Cha 12

A fighter, probably a short-lived one, given the Con
A 18 point buy minus 3 points for a +0 total bonus

This could be fun to play, if the game was set up for people like this.

May I introduce Salton the Sweet, a bard of some small repute. He's quick on his feet, deft of finger, and his smile shines from under curly black locks that make teenaged girls swoon. In fact, it's those teenage girls that keep getting him in trouble. Faced with a pretty young thing, he cannot help but follow his passionate heart.

Sticking to his maxim of "I'm a lover, not a fighter" has not kept jealous men and protective fathers from threatening him with violence. Fortunately for his health, his fear of impending pain is quite enough to overcome the persistence of his loins, once the threat is made. When he does get into a fight, he attempts to flee swiftly, knowing that his slender frame and weak musculature is not going to stand up to that of an angry father who has spent his life plowing fields and breaking in horses.

To him, life is one big adventure full of ups and downs. He tastes of the sweet lips of one maiden, then dodges the consequences until his heart is again won.

p.s. interestingly, when flipped back to my Excel spreadsheet, it had reset to almost all 10s with a 12 and a 14. A theoretically better set, and more likely to come from a low-power point buy, and a lot more boring.

Ok, I am a sheep, I do what I am told.

Str: 16
Dex: 10
Con: 12
Int: 13
Wis: 6
Cha: 9

I'm thinking.. Eh, straight Fighter, maybe Barbarian.

No, wait. For variety, I dub this a Fighter/Wizard Multiclass.

Oh, why not....

Str 10
Dex 13
Con 12
Int 11
Wis 7
Cha 6

Hmm...perhaps a common pickpocket?

Second time luckier (I hope)...

Str 14
Dex 13
Con 11
Int 10
Wis 8
Cha 17

Paladin a la Don Quixote springs to mind...:)

What a fine idea for a thread!

Str 14 (+2)
Dex 16 (+3)
Con 6 (-2)
Int 8 (-1)
Wis 13 (+1)
Chr 6 (-2)

Hmmm, I guess I'd make him an archer, maybe a fighter/rogue to make up for his skill deficiency.

He would definitely want to stay out of melee with that con of 6...

Okay, one more set for fun.

Str: 7
Dex: 12
Con: 9
Int: 11
Wis: 10
Chr:16

If it's a PC, I'm thinking Sorcerer. If it's an NPC, aristocrat.

Str 12
Dex 17
Con 9
Int 7
Wis 12
Cha 11

A fighter specializing in archery, I'd say. Young and inexperienced, but with an affinity for his bow.
