Ronin & Arcane Runes Press - Visions 2: Phantasmal Memories, the Book of Spirits

Hey, it's Halloween season! Ronin Arts and Arcane Runes Press present 4 weeks of Ghastly, Ghostly, Gothy Goodness for D20 fantasy.

Welcome to week two of Halloween season! This Week Visions #2: Phantasmal Memories - The Book of Spirits.

Phantasmal Memories - The Book of Spirits introduces three brand new ghostly templates and a new mechanic for including haunting, non-ghost related effects into your game.

Your players will dread the Dread Spectre, a wronged spirit who haunts the wilderness, bringing terror and death to all who cross its path. Includes an all-new monster, the Black Dog, based off the dread spectre template.

Fate is often unkind, and never moreso than when it is personified as the Harbinger Spirit. The harbinger spirit is the messenger of woe and bad tidings - in other words, just the right spark for a good, gothic adventure. Two new monsters of folklore, the legendary bean sidhe and the bean nighe (the washerwoman, Scottish equivalent of the banshee), are included as well, to give you a springboard for making your own ghastly spirits.

Is artistic immortality worth the cost of the mortal soul? Introduce the phantom muse, and find out. The Phantasmal Muse template will bring an aura of gothic tragedy to your game. A spirit of passion and unearthly beauty, the phantasmal muse gives of itself to inspire artists to heights of brilliance they never dreamed possible - and all it asks in return is devotion unto death and beyond.

And finally, Phantasmal Memories introduces an all new mechanic for introducing haunting encounters to your campaign. Phantasmal memories are the echoes of events and emotions long gone... echoes with the power to twist reality, the mind, and the soul. The rules for phantom memories give you the tools you need to create effects like phantom footsteps, walls that drip blood, floating candelabras - you know, all the stuff that makes a haunted house a haunted house.

Visions #2: Phantasmal Memories is 32 pages of ghostly goodness. All for only $5.00.
