As evidenced by the ranking of our starship products, we've come up with a product that sci-fi players want. So far, we have four starships released and many, many more on the way.

These ships are designed using SkeletonKey Games' e-Future Tiles and several sets include new, bonus tiles.

Bit disappointed with the fact Starship 4 is more expensive and doesn't even contain any new tiles.

You might also suggest to Skeleton Key or for your next Starship, that you include a tile with a turbolift or some method of moving between decks. They may be 2D floor plans but that doesn't mean evey space ship has to have only one deck.

A fighter bay (modified cargo bay?) might also be a tile to have.

4 is also a much larger ship . . . if you check page count you'll understand.

Ed and I have been working to design new tiles and a turbolift is in the works. As is a hanger and tiles for one-man fighters that can be placed on the hanger.

These use the D20 Future SRD rules.

Which means you just have to spend even more money to get all the Skeleton Key tiles to build it. ;)

I guess I'll let you off it is cheaper than the Foxhawk class which is about the same page count. Still its a shame there are no bonus tiles.

If you have room in future versions it might be worth listing the codes for the various tiles that you need to make the ship rather than having to work it out from the floorplan. For example for the Livingstone you could have said.

You will require the following tiles SP01, 2 x SP05*, 2 x SF20, 2 x SF04, 2 x SF05, 2 x SF06, 4 x SF21, SP07*, SF02, SH07, SH08, 2x SF23, SP12, SP13.

*doesn't it look a little odd that the doors don't match with the next tile.

I just bought all four starships for $6.75. It looks pretty kewl, there are even new rules in there, something i wasn't expecting...

Certainly they are a really good purchase, and its interesting to see Skeleton Key and Ronin Arts linking up like this. Probably two of my favourite PDF publishers.

I'll try to ensure that future starships always include a new tile or two. The next release includes a wing extension (well, two tiles but they're mirrored) that allowed us to make a very wide ship. This one's also going to include small sensor drone counters.

And yes, every ship includes new stuff. Either some new rules or ideas for starships or new starship equipment. We're trying to make this standard for the series.

We're also working toward a carrier -- I've now illustrated 3 one-man fighters that will be counters (big counters) that can be placed in a starship hanger or SkeletonKey Games' upcoming Ice Base hanger.
