Use the orb spells/arc lightning/blast of flame/acid arrow/glitterdust etc. etc. if you're up against critters with SR.

Ah, thats the thing, though...I thought it was simply extra attacks if they provoke, not once if they move, once more if they drink a potion, once more if....

So I stand by my vote. And now I know better.

I seem to remember Wulf Ratbane giving someone grief over excessive concentration on a single weapon. He's the sort of dwarf who gets up bright and surly!

Craft Wondrous Item, because Scribe Scroll really should have been the last item creation feat to go, so I'm trying to make up for that now.
Empower Spell, because metamagic has not yet been completely tossed out, and it looks like we have a better shot at axing it this round than Quicken Spell. But watch out, Quicken: you're next!

Weapon Focus because your +1 to hit with your sword is sodding useless against something with DR5/bludgeoning. It exists only as a prereq feat. DOWN WITH IT!

Empower Spell....why aren't you dead yet?

I don't get that reasoning at all. It helps to hit, not damage. Why should it be expected to help out in this situation? :\
