TWO WEAPON FIGHTING - More a general protest against the way two-weapon fighting is implemented than against this feat in particular. It really isn't all that hard to fight with two weapons.

CRAFT WONDEROUS ITEM - Again, the magic item creation system sucks. This is a lazy, catch-all feat, there because the designers couldn't be bothered coming up with a smarter system.

Indeed. In fact, with a Two Handed weapon, unless you're APAATT [/FPAATT], Weapon Focus equals Weapon Specialization, except... better.

How did these two make it so far? Neither of these feats have much value by themselves. Perhaps when paired together, they receive +10 to hide checks. Yes, that must be it. Going to house rule this complementary feat bonus into my future games.

GREATER SPELL PENETRATION [GENERAL]
GREATER WEAPON FOCUS [GENERAL]


Same reasonning as previous posters. I prefer AE's mechanism of letting some feats be taken again to increase the benefits, or just do a generic, all-purpose, Feat Focus feat that would give increase a feat-granted bonus by +2, than clutter the book with "Greater This" and "Epic That" that are just variation on the +2/+4/+6 theme.
