Precise Shot

However I am in a pickle as I think none of these deserve to win really.

Interesting how almost all the feats left are combat feats. Improved Initative & Spell Pen. are the notable exceptions. D&D is a combat game in the end it seems. I may just have to support improved intitative to win, as it benifits all classes/character types (however limited in its value it is)

Can some off you dolts who are voting for Two Weapon Fighting please tell me what freakin' color the sky is in your world where Precise Shot (for starters) is a better choice?

I just. Don't. Get It.

The ability to fire into melee without the -4 penalty is HUGE. It allows melee guys to protect archers/spellcasters and archers/spellcasters to help melee guys while they are in melee. It requires Point Blank shot, but that's a cool feat as well, that most archers are going to want, and still helps a ray spellcaster. (The +1 to hit still applies in 30')

Remember, ranged touch attacks still get the -4 melee penalty for firing into melee, so it's good for ranged warriors as well as spellcasters. For Wizards and Sorcerers, it also allows them to use a light crossbow when they run out of spells and not suck any worse than they already do with their bad BAB.

Meanwhile, to take advantage of Two Weapon Fighting to it's fullest, you need several other feats. (Improved two weapon fighting, Two Weapon Defence, ect) otherwise you're taking at least a -2 to hit, and you're not adding a lot of extra damage. It's not a bad feat, but more for the flavor than the reality.

Generaly, there aren't as many non-combat feats available as there are combat feats. And the big feat monster is the Fighter.

Not to say there aren't some cool non-combat feats, but they are generaly a bit more specialized for specific characters.

Now if there was a normal "Skill Compitence" feat that gave you +2 to two related skills instead of 15 specific feats, it might still be out there.
