Routine Site downtime?

Is there routine downtime on the site for maintenance? I've had a few days where I get the message that the site is down for maintenance, and I think it has been around the same time for each incident: about 5pm Eastern Daylight (10 PM London, I believe). Today I didn't get the maintenance message, but around 5pm local, I timed out, unable to locate the server.

Just curious if it is something I should anticipate so I don't lose a posting around that time.

i've noticed that too. i figured it was just little tweaks being done.

Though when no one else seemed to mention them i thought maybe it was a server load thing and that was a default message.

But, anyway, just replying to say "yeah, i noticed that too and am wondering as well"

(it's fine whatever the answer is, just a curiosity).

Same here! Afterwards, I noticed very few people were on the site.

Seems like this week at around the 4:30-ish EST time - 5:30-ish the site has gone down
