RP-heavy campaign in Greyhawk City

I'm about to start a new campaign that is going to be set in Greyhawk City, shortly after the Wars. The old From the Ashes campaign setting material is going to form the basis of "my" Greyhawk. I want to emphasize the problems resulting from Tenha refugees (riots and hatred for the newcomers), the problems in the Rhennee community (pro- and against Iuz) and, of course, the role of the Thieves Guild and the Beggar's union.
I will probably modify some aspects of Greyhawk to suit my needs. I might run the Banewarrens later, so I'm thinking about adding a huge stone obelisk that was built by Zagig Yragerne (I think it makes sense - after all he imprisoned the demi-gods just for fun), and I might change the Wizard's Guild to resemble the secretive guild from the banewarrens - taking a clue from the DVD-game Scourge of worlds I'm thinking about making Pholtus the most powerful religion of Greyhawk - this way creating interesting tensions between the oligarchy and the Pholtus-hierarchy.

As this is going to be a weekly campaign I won't be able to come up with original adventures for a lack of time. So, in addition to the aforementioned Banewarrens (that I have not yet decided to use - after all, it is just a dungeon crawl at its heart, and I'm thoroughly fed up with Monte Cook's RttToeE, so I'm a bit leery about using the Banewarrens)... I thought about using Mad God's Key (a DUNGEON adventure) to kick-start the campaign.

What I'm really looking for are adventures that might fit into such a campaign. Do you know any adventures that are role-playing heavy and can be easily plugged into a campaign in Greyhawk City? Which adventures would you recommend? The most important thing to me would be interesting and challenging role-playing encounters. I don't mind some dungeon-crawling, but it should not be the main focus of the campaign.

Any suggestions? I have access to nearly all the 3rd Ed. DUNGEON magazines, so if you know a fitting adventure from those pages, don't hesitate to tell me about it.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I just downloaded Assassin's Knot. Aren't there any 3/3.5E adventures fitting my description? the review database is not a great help, as even adventures that are deemed innovative or just plain good (like Grey Citadel, banewarrens et.al) are just spiced up dungeon crawls... little wonder that many d20 publishers had to close their doors. One would think that with so many companies in the market there would be more to D&D than dungeon crawls. I kinda assumed that I just didn't know about these product.
Oh well. Thing is, changing systems won't do much good, either, as most of them do not have many adventures published... besides I don't have the time to learn a new set of rules, right now.

Well, I don't know of any, but that doesn't mean much, as I know only very few published adventures.

However, since the above is mostly intrigue/investigation, it could surely be used as a base for a 3.5 game without much trouble.

And who knows, maybe you can even find it converted in the Conversion Library?

It's worth a try for sure. :)

Bye

The 2e City of Greyhawk boxed set has so much suitable stuff in it you might find it worth the conversion effort - it had literally dozens of adventures, many of them potentially great for RP.
