- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Free League Publishing teams up with Skybound Entertainment to bring another Robert Kirkman comic book series to life. First, they worked together on The Walking Dead Universe RPG, now they’re going the superhero route with Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying. For this universe of superpowers and super problems, you’ll use the d6 dice pool version of the Year Zero Engine with the push re-roll rules versus the character’s stress/resolve. With this Kickstarter, they’re creating the standalone core rulebook, the starter boxed set, GM screen, and a new variant cover of issue #1 of the Invincible comic book. This game combines some of the biggest names in comics and tabletop, Robert Kirkman with Adam Bradford of D&D Beyond and Tomas Härenstam, lead designer of the ALIEN RPG and the Blade Runner RPG. Art comes from comic book artists Cory Walker, Ryan Ottley, and Todd Nauck with graphic design by Johan Nohr of MÖRK BORG fame.
