Convention season is ramping up so it’s time to prepare with Coven Con from The Homebakery, an RPG about a witch convention. Create your own witchy convention with panels, guests, artists alley, etc. with a supernatural twist as you face the issues that inevitably crop up attempting to run a convention, both mundane and fantastical.
From Games Franco, the solo and co-op storytelling game Abducted places you in the dual role of a human who has been abducted by aliens. Solo players take on both roles while the co-op casts one player as the human and the other as the alien as you chronicle your experiences attempting to understand and communicate with your alien captor.
Adam Hensley released Monolith, an OSR science fiction RPG exploring a vast and mysterious galaxy. Explore lost words, encounter strange and weird aliens, and struggle against the turthless factions that populate the stars.
Gildor Games offers another new adventure for the Elemental RPG titled Children of the Black Monolith. An expedition seeks out the lost Atlantean kingdom, but the captain dies under mysterious circumstances sparking a power struggle that threatens the expedition before even meeting the current dwellers of the sunken city.
JKW has a one-sheet heist for CY_BORG with Mia’s Day Off. The crime lord Masato Dvorak needs someone to take his wife Mia out for a fun time at the Kaytell Makers Proudly Presents: Fun!™ corpo-amusement park and keep her safe and entertained. Sounds like a cakewalk? Well I should note that no other caretaker team has managed to survive one of Mia’s “outings”…
Old School Role Playing released The List, a Cepheus Engine adventure (the system that powers Traveller). A group of masked men open fire in the Star Port in a firefight that ends quickly. Clutched in the hand of one of the attackers is a list of names with many scratched off…and the group’s names next on the list.
So remember how Roll20 announced they’d be publishing Dungeonmasters Guild material? Well it’s here starting with Ashley Warren’s adventure A Night of Masks and Monsters. The noble Marquis di Maschera may harbor a dark secret that may endanger the entire city of Ibrido. This adventure is ready to play on Roll20 with NPCs and characters set up with click-to-roll buttons, maps with pre-placed tokens, and fully set up for dynamic lighting support.
From psionicalpha, the adventure A Murder in Redwater tasks the party of level 1-4 adventurers with solving a murder mystery in the small hamlet of Redwater that will cause them to cross paths with the powerful Redwood family and a seedy underworld of smugglers and cultists.
The Dark Powers have a new toy to play with in Thomas Kolar’s Crescent City: A Ravenloft Domain of Dread (that as a Cajun looks oddly familiar…) The Crescent City was once the crown jewel of the south lands full of the color, music, and joyous energy of Mardi Gras. However, the city has fallen under the shadow of Dr. Facilier and his newly acquired occult powers in this New-Orleans-via-Disney’s-Princess and the Frog setting.
Tom Flynn released Amazing Accessories for Adventurers, a collection of magic items designed to be important and pivotal items in a campaign with complete histories filled with mystery and wonder.
Tom also wants to further expand your magical offerings with 50 Interesting Potions, which is pretty much what it says on the tin: A collection of 50 potions that expands beyond simply their effects with detailed descriptions of each potion (and potential side effects!)
For the buskers, tramps, and roving performers out there, John Beardify has College of the Open Road – For Crust Punk, Hobo, Rambling Bards. These bards eschew wealth and comfort for life on the road touring from town to town for freedom and adventure along with rules for giving your bard an animal companion to keep them company on their travels and rules for writing life lessons in graffiti on the tavern wall.
IamSposta posted a new option for Warlock classes who wish to pledge themselves to the eye tyrants, the Beholder Patron. By acting as an agent for a Beholder and as its eyes (ha) in the greater world, you gain some of the powers of these fearsome aberrations.
If you’d like to experiment with some tweaks to the classes and subclasses, Unlawfully Good Productions released Revised Class Features 5e. Every official class and many subclasses have been revised with tweaks, nerfs, and buffs to bring more balance and create additional viability for some of the more (in their opinion) lackluster options.
If you want to turn Lord Soth into a more threatening antagonist for your game, T. D. Anderson has Lord Soth Resurrected. This new version of Lord Soth makes him even more dangerous by bringing his stats closer to previous material as well as increasing his power along with those of his iconic servants and magic items.
And of course, we have a collection of maps for you. Each of these is available either Free or as pay what you want with the price listed in brackets.
